Year’s 5 Best Print Advertisements

  1. Nikon

Nikon is one of the largest camera manufactures in the world, and this ad proves it. I found this advertisement to be an overall good one. It aknowledges how the camera is one-of-a-kind in a humorous way. The uniqueness is shown as the camera detects 12 'human' faces in the photograph. I wonder if the man posing in the picture has any idea they're there?!

  1. MasterCard Canada

It is difficult for designers to tackle the attention of women in the advertisements, especially when it comes to sports. Although, this particular ad for a women's golf tournament tackled my attention for sure. They chose something a majority of women absolutely love: shoes! Very creative.

  1. Axe

The chaos has been unleashed! This ad draws the attention of their audience by letting them know that their fragrance isn't just for men, but for women as well. It also has both sexes wishing they could be those individuals in the ad: a women driving a sportscar with a glittery dress who has a man drooling over her, and a manly man who has the sparks flying with a girl while he is trying to fix his old, beat-up car.

  1. FedEx

The simplicity of this ad portrays an excellent message about FedEx: how they are an international company with express shipping that is handled with care at all times. No matter where their customers are located, FedEx will reach out whenever you need them to. Good job, FedEx! Way to show your customers how you treat customer service.

  1. IKEA

This advertisement represents IKEA perfectly with all the bright colors and fun furniture that is built and shipped directly to your doorstep. It is important to note that since the furniture looks 'non-moving', which means they have safe drivers delivering your purchases. Creative and modern, good job IKEA!
